Abstract
The in vitro activity of formation of 2-deoxy-scyllo-inosose, the earliest intermediate of the 2-deoxystreptamine biosynthesis, was confirmed in the precipitate fraction obtained by 30~45% saturation of ammonium sulfate from the 15,000 × g supernatant of the sonicated Streptomyces fradiae IFO 13147 cells. © 1992, JAPAN ANTIBIOTICS RESEARCH ASSOCIATION.
