Abstract

RAY KURZWEIL, director of engineering at Google, predicts humans are going to develop emotions and characteristics of higher complexity as a result of connecting their brains to computers. KATHLEEN MILES is Senior Editor of The WorldPost. “We’re going to be funnier. We’re going to be sexier. We’re going to be better at expressing loving sentiment,” Kurzweil, who’s involved in developing artificial intelligence at Google, said at a recent discussion at Singularity University.
