Abstract

This chapter discusses rehabilitation approaches to care, interdisciplinary team function, and rehabilitation assessments. The rehabilitation of common neurodeficits in children with posterior fossa tumor is presented, with discussion about translation of evidence into practice. A case scenario is provided. Many of the recommendations for treatment are extrapolated from the wider population of children with acquired brain injury. Further research in rehabilitation interventions and longer-term child and family relevant outcomes is required.
