Abstract

In this article, by using the Meir-Keeler type mappings, we obtain some new fixed point theorems for the cyclic orbital stronger (weaker) Meir-Keeler contractions and generalized cyclic stronger (weaker) Meir-Keeler contractions. Our results generalize or improve many recent fixed point theorems in the literature. © 2012 Chen; licensee Springer.
