Extramedullary plasmacytoma

Abstract

The main features associated with extramedullary plasmacytoma are described, including a case report showing a rare site of origin and a slow response to irradiation therapy. The tumor response was followed by repeated biopsies and it was not until 3 mth after completion of irradiation that the biopsy revealed no evidence of tumor.
