Abstract
This article presents a comprehensive framework for migrating from monolithic systems to event-driven microservices architectures. It explores the foundational concepts that enable loosely coupled, responsive microservices ecosystems and examines the benefits of event-driven patterns over traditional monolithic designs. The framework outlines a structured migration approach including assessment, incremental decomposition strategies, event identification, and phased implementation.
