Abstract

Some aspects of strategic control for information units based on the Balanced Scorecard, a tool which improves the library management, are shown. Antecedents of this tool are revealed so the reader can understand the need and scope of the use of the Balanced Scorecard. Then the research presents orderly and with examples how to gradually build the implementation methodology. Finally the design and implementation of the balanced scorecard is suggested with easyto- follow steps.
