Abstract

The present research work was aimed at determining to what extent the redistribution of the plant impacts productivity in a fast food company; It is worth mentioning that the results are part of the thesis to obtain the title of Industrial Engineer. The design is pre-experimental, where a reliable questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha of 0.93) was applied to the organization's collaborators. Also, an interview guide, observation guide and a documentary collection sheet were taken as data collection instruments. The structure of the model was divided into 4 fundamental stages: Diagnosis of the company, Analysis of the process under study, Proposal for improvement and Economic analysis. It is concluded that the redistribution of the plant has a positive impact on productivity, increasing it by 165%. Finally, the economic impact of the application will leave a recovered amount of S/.2, 721.9, an internal rate of return of 79% and an investment recovery period of30 days.
