Assessment of the Mobilities of Cr, Fe and Ni in bcc Cr-Fe-Ni Alloys

Abstract

Experimental data on the diffusional mobilities of Cr, Fe and Ni in bcc Cr-Fe-Ni alloys are assessed by means of a model which takes the effect of a ferromagnetic transition in multicomponent alloys into account. Comparison between experimental data and calculations are made and a satisfactory agreement is found. A set of parameters describing the variations of the mobilities with temperature and composition are given. © 1995, The Iron and Steel Institute of Japan. All rights reserved.
