Gambaran Dermoskopi Tinea Kapitis di Poliklinik Dermatologi dan Venereologi RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah tahun 2022-2024

Abstract

Introduction: Tinea capitis is a fungal infection of the scalp caused by Microsporum and Trichophyton. Dermoscopy is a noninvasive, rapid, and cost-effective diagnostic method that is effective in detecting tinea capitis. Early diagnosis through dermoscopy enables timely treatment. This study aims to analyze the dermoscopic findings of tinea capitis in the dermatology and venereology outpatient clinic at RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar. Methods: This study is a retrospective descriptive study using secondary data from electronic medical records of tinea capitis patients at the dermatology and venereology outpatient clinic at RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar from 2022 to 2024. Results: A total of 26 cases of tinea capitis were found in the dermatology and venereology outpatient clinic at RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar from 2022 to 2024. The highest number of tinea capitis cases was found in females, with 17 cases (65,3%). The 6-18 years age group had the highest incidence, with 15 cases (57.6%). The most common risk factor was pet ownership, affecting 16 individuals (61.5%). The most frequently observed dermoscopic feature was broken hair, found in 12 patients (46.1%). Conclusion: A total of 26 cases of tinea capitis were identified in the dermatology and venereology outpatient clinic at RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar from 2022 to 2024, with the majority of dermoscopic findings being broken hair.   Pendahuluan: Tinea kapitis adalah infeksi jamur pada kulit kepala yang disebabkan oleh Microsporum dan Trichophyton. Dermoskopi merupakan metode diagnostik non invasif, cepat, dan hemat biaya yang efektif untuk mendeteksi tinea kapitis. Diagnosis dini melalui dermoskopi memungkinkan pengobatan yang tepat waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran dermoskopi tinea kapitis di poliklinik dermatologi dan venereologi RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG. Ngoerah Denpasar. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif retrospektif dengan mendapatkan data sekunder dari rekam medis elektronik pasien tinea kapitis di poliklinik dermatologi dan venereologi RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG. Ngoerah Denpasar tahun 2022-2024. Hasil: Didapatkan 26 kasus tinea kapitis di poliklinik dermatologi dan venereologi RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG. Ngoerah Denpasar tahun 2022-2024. Kasus tinea kapitis terbanyak pada jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 17 orang (65,3%). Kelompok usia 6-18 tahun memiliki kasus tinea kapitis terbanyak yaitu 15 orang (57,6%). Faktor resiko tinea kapitis terbanyak pada orang yang mempunyai hewan peliharaan sebanyak 16 orang (61,5%). Hasil dermoskopi terbanyak yaitu broken hair sebanyak 12 orang (46,1%). Simpulan: Kasus Tinea Kapitis di Polikllinik Dermatologi dan Venereologi RSUP Prof. dr. IGNG. Ngoerah Denpasar tahun 2022-2024 didapatkan 26 kasus dengan mayoritas hasil dermoskopi berupa broken hair
