Abstract
Abstrak Media pembelajaran sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar terutama untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Namun saat ini masih belum banyak pengembangan media pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru terutama guru geografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan video Animasi Stop Motion pada pembelajaran geogarfi di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. Ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Hannafin and Peck. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa aspek materi, mendapat skor rata-rata 85% (valid), aspek manfaat mendapat skor rata-rata 84% (valid), aspek penggunaan mendapat skor rata-rata 82,2% (valid), dan kesesuaian media mendapat skor rata-rata 86,7% (valid). Maka secara keseluruhan, penilaian oleh ahli materi menghasilkan rata-rata persentase 84,4% dengan kriteria valid. Untuk validasi ahli media penilaian terhadap 5 aspek penilaian, yaitu aspek tujuan, visual, audio, penggunaan dan manfaat dari aspek tujuan mendapatkan skor rata-rata 84% (valid), aspek visual mendapatkan skor rata-rata 80% (valid), aspek audio mendapatkan skor rata-rata 92% (valid), aspek penggunaan 95% dan aspek manfaat mendapat skor rata-rata 91,4% (valid). Secara keseluruhan, penilaian terhadap produk yang dikembangkan oleh ahli media menghasilkan rata-rata skor 88,4% dengan kriteria valid. Berdasakan data tersebut maka media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi stop motion pada pelajaran geografi dikatakan valid dan kepraktisannya layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract Learning media is very important in supporting success of the teaching and learning process, especially to increase students' activeness and critical thinking skills. However, at this time there are still not many learning media developments carried out by teachers, especially geography teachers. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the Stop Motion animation video in learning geography in class X SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Hannafin and Peck model. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the material aspect got an average score of 85% (valid), the benefit aspect got an average score of 84% (valid), the use aspect got an average score of 82.2% (valid), and media suitability got an average score of 86.7% (valid). So overall, the assessment by material experts resulted in an average percentage of 84.4% with valid criteria. For media expert validation, the assessment of 5 aspects of the assessment, namely aspects of purpose, visual, audio, use and benefit from the aspect of the objective got an average score of 84% (valid), the visual aspect got an average score of 80% (valid), audio aspect get an average score of 92% (valid), the usage aspect is 95% and the benefit aspect gets an average score of 91.4% (valid). Overall, the assessment of the product developed by media experts resulted in an average score of 88.4% with valid criteria. Based on these data, the stop motion animation video-based learning media in geography lessons is said to be valid and practical to use in the learning process.
