INOVASI TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL UNTUK PENGENTASAN KEMISKINAN PADA PERTANIAN DATARAN TINGGI SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Poverty in agriculture is one of the many problems that have not been resolved until now. There are various ways to overcome this, but this is still not a solution to the problem of poverty in agriculture. This study is intended to provide an overview of the influence of digital technology on agriculture, especially the highlands. The location chosen for this research is Malang Regency, because the number of poverties in Malang Regency is relatively high with a figure of 265 thousand poor people. The method used is qualitative by using an interview process in order to obtain accurate data from upland farmer groups and the Malang Regency Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Service which is responsible for the development and development of the agricultural sector. The findings of this study are that digital technology is relevant for overcoming poverty in upland agriculture because it can reduce the production costs and indirectly has an impact on farmers financial management.
