Pemberdayaan Santri Kreatif dan Wirausaha melalui Pemanfaatan Limbah Kayu menjadi Kerajinan

Abstract

The students in the Al Arghob Hidayatus Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School environment mostly come from a rural environment, which may affect them in terms of knowledge, mindset, and their way of thinking tends to be said to be lacking. This is exacerbated by the level of creativity that is not honed and the mindset of most students who tend to choose quickly to get married after completing their education at Pondok Pesantren, they forget to prepare for their future such as pursuing a career that can be useful to support their household life. One of the programs implemented at the Al-Arghob Hidayatus Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School is the Empowerment of Creative Students and Entrepreneurs through the Utilization of Wood Waste into Crafts. There are several objectives in implementing this program, namely to broaden students' knowledge regarding the potential of wood waste, to create quality, creative and innovative students; and lastly to encourage and motivate students to be enthusiastic in entrepreneurship. The result of this program is that students have a sense of enthusiasm in participating in these activities and help students to be more creative in entrepreneurship.
