Abstract

We report the application of an orthogonal ultrasonic guidance technique for renal biopsy in which the needle is visualized continuously throughout its placement. This method was initially developed for intrauterine fetal transfusion, and its use has been reported for transuterine fetal procedures and amniocentesis.
