The article focuses on a study that was conducted to examine the efficacy of exercise and diet cycling program approach on weight loss, and fat loss. About thirty-six overweight women were included in the study. The findings of the study suggest that short-term diet cycling during a weight loss and exercise program can be an effective way to promote weight loss without associated reductions in resting energy expenditure (REE).
