Abstract

A large variety of alkaloids compounds have been isolated from marine sponges. Many of these compounds angerang 15810 Banten, Indonesia show interesting biological activities. In this review, we report the alkaloid isolated from Indonesian marine sponges angerang 15810 Banten, Indonesia complete with their structure, names, literatures and biological activities. The major part of the alkaloid isolated from the Indonesian marine sponges: Leucteta chagosensis, Agelas linnaei, Acanthostrongylophora sp with majority of alkaloid groups: imidazole alkaloid, brominated pyrrole, manzamine alkaloid and other type of alkaloids
