Ulmus ismaelis (Ulmaceae) y Pilocarpus racemosus var. racemosus (Rutaceae), nuevos registros para la flora de Chiapas, México

Abstract

Ulmus ismaelis Todzia et Panero (Ulmaceae) and Pilocarpus racemosus Vahl. var. racemosus (Rutaceae) are reported as new records for Chiapas; the latter is the first report for the genus in Chiapas and a variety for Mesoamerica. The geographical distribution of this species emphasizes the floristic relationship between the southern forests of Mexico and those of Central America.
