Abstract

Euzonus olagoensis n.sp. is described from a wave‐exposed, sandy beach on the Otago Peninsula, New Zealand. This is the first published record of the genus for the New Zealand region. E. olagoensis is mainly distinguished from the other species of the genus by its 14 prcbranchial setigcrs and bifurcate branchiae with small pinnae on the superior filament. © 1976 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
