Abstract
From the perspective of climate change and the global carbon cycle, agroforestry practices are attractive: they directly store carbon in tree components, and they potentially slow deforestation by reducing the need to clear forest land for agriculture. Literature showed that median carbon storage by agroforestry practices was 9 t C ha-1 in semi-arid, 21 t C ha-1 in sub-humid, 50 t C ha-1 in humid, and 63 t C ha-1 in temperature ecoregions. -from Author
