Implementasi Kelembagaan Pemerintah Desa Pelem Kecamatan Campurdarat Kabupaten Tulungagung dalam Mitigasi Bencana pada Tradisi “Temanten Kucing” Masyarakat Desa Pelem

Abstract

Indonesian people in each region have a wealth of local knowledge commonly referred to as local wisdom. It includes disaster mitigation and conflict resolution. Disaster mitigation based on local wisdom has more complex dimensions, especially in the social humanities field. The long-term goal of this research is to preserve and preserve local knowledge that is actually still relevant today. Traditional methods like this, in addition to obtaining harmony and unity among citizens. Because, local wisdom is one of the adhesive tools of a nation besides the lack of harmony in society today. Pelem Village, Campurdarat District has local wisdom in overcoming the dry season. This tradition can strengthen relations between citizens because each of these activities is held able to gather all citizens to gather and maintain good relations, regardless of race, race or religion. The tradition of "temanten kucing" is a tradition of the ancestors of the people of Pelem Village, Campur Darat Subdistrict, Tulungangung Regency, to beg for rain when there is a long dry season. The method used in this study to achieve the target to be achieved is a qualitative-descriptive method. The results achieved are local wisdom in the tradition of "Temanten Kucing" which has the potential to greatly strengthen the spirit of national unity. Creating a harmonious social climate and having special characteristics in the elements of the communication medium, to create the objectives mentioned above. It can be concluded that in the disaster mitigation process-in the local culture there is a communication process carried out by all parties so that there is a common understanding. The communication ethic of the traditional cat tradition contains certain teleological (aiming) values to lead the masses. This ceremony is directed at the goal (telos) of values of wisdom and unity.
