Abstract

We describe a woman with stereotypic recurrent episodes of severe depression with suicidal ideation that follow series of simple partial seizures. Her seizures were not clinically recognized for many years. When her seizures are effectively treated with antiepileptic drug therapy, her depressive episodes remit. © 2000 Academic Press.
