Abstract

Pulmonary artery banding was performed on an 11-year-old female with a large patent ductus arteriosus to control pulmonary hypertension. At catheterization 3 years later the band on the right pulmonary artery was present. At catheterization 13 years later the right pulmonary artery band could no longer be demonstrated. © 1980, International Heart Journal Association. All rights reserved.
