Kasus Dina dan Sikhem Ditinjau dari Perspektif Teologi dan Hukum Positif

Abstract

The Bible honestly recounts various intriguing events with the aim of imparting faith lessons to Christians so that they may draw closer to God, avoid various events that give rise to the consequences of sin and the law. The story of the Rape of Sikhem is one example of the Bible's honesty. Circumcision, as a covenant between God and His chosen people, was used as a condition for the evil pact that Simeon and Levi made to kill Sikhhem, Hamor, and all the adult men of the land of Sikhem, then plunder their wealth and take captive the women and children of the land of Sikhem. This study aims to provide an overview of theological and legal perspectives on the case of Dina and Sikhem, in order to understand the intentions and purposes of the Word of God in this case, and from a legal perspective, the rules and criminal threats regarding the cases that occur in the story of Dina and Sikhem. The researcher used a qualitative method and concluded that cases of rape against minors cause various traumas in the lives of sexual violence victims, as well as premeditated murder and theft preceded by violence against Sikhem, Hamor, and the entire land of Sikhem.AbstrakAlkitab secara jujur mengisahkan berbagai kejadian menarik yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pelajaran iman kepada umat Kristen agar semakin dekat  dengan Tuhan, menghindari berbagai peristiwa yang menimbulkan dosa hukuman. Kisah pemerkosaan Sikhem terhadap Dina adalah salah satu bukti  kejujuran Alkitab. Sunat sebagai suatu kovenan antara Allah dengan umat pilihan-Nya dijadikan sebagai syarat untuk permufakatan jahat Simeon dan Lewi yang membunuh Sikhem dan Hemor serta seluruh laki-laki dewasa negeri Sikhem. Tindakan menjarah harta dan menawan perempuan dan anak-anak negeri Sikhem. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran tentang perspektif teologi dan hukum mengenai  kasus Dina dan Sikhem, agar dapat diketahui maksud dan tujuan Firman Tuhan dalam kasus ini. Dari perspektif hukum ada  aturan-aturan serta ancaman pidana terhadap kasus-kasus yang terjadi dalam kisah Dina dan Sikhem. Peneliti menggunakan  metode kualitatif dan menyimpulkan  bahwa kasus pemerkosaan terhadap anak  di bawah umur menimbulkan berbagai trauma dalam kehidupan korban kekerasan seksual, serta adanya pembunuhan berencana dan pencurian yang didahului kekerasan terhadap Sikhem, Hemor dan seluruh negeri Sikhem.
