Abstract

The article discusses the challenges and benefits of using the Internet in China’s modern education in the context of the national strategy to accelerate the development of digital technology and create digital China. Positive and negative effects of penetration of online technologies into the social and educational spheres are analyzed. The article presents modern legislative acts designed to minimize the negative effects of physiological and psychological nature from the uncontrolled functioning of a person in a virtual social and educational space. The current state of the legislative framework for the use of the Internet in education in China is considered.
