Abstract

dl-Ibuprofen and l-naproxen were coupled with amino acids and other bioactive compounds to provide ibuprofen and naproxen bioconjugates in 61-95% yield as prodrugs or potential drug candidates. © 2009 John Wiley & Sons A/S.
