Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of congregational Dhuhr prayers in shaping the disciplined character of students at MI Daarussalaam. The research focuses on the importance of habitual worship as a tool for character education in school settings. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, where data were collected through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that although the congregational prayer program has been implemented, not all students fully participate. Teachers play a crucial role in providing motivation and direct examples to enhance student discipline. These findings show that the habit of congregational prayers can be effective in shaping disciplined character, but active involvement from families and increased self-awareness among students are needed. This study contributes to the literature on character education, particularly in the context of religious education in schools. The limitations of this study include a lack of family involvement and the limited duration of the research. Recommendations for future research include long-term evaluations and the development of collaborative programs between schools and families to strengthen the achieved results.
