Abstract

As one of the four basic abilities, English reading plays an important role in English learning in senior high school. According to the curriculum requirements of the "New Curriculum Reform", the traditional English teaching methods can no longer meet the requirements of improving students' comprehensive quality. Under the background of the long-standing existence of the COVID-19 epidemic, more attention has been paid to the reversal of the classroom teaching model. This paper studies the application of flipped classroom in English reading teaching, and analyzes its advantages and characteristics.
