PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL DALAM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM BAGI CALON GURU SD

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars in the development of a nation. In the era of globalization and the advancement of information technology, the role of digital technology in education is becoming increasingly important. The utilization of digital technology has opened new opportunities in learning, including in the context of religious education. Islam, as the foundation of morals and ethics in life, plays a central role in the education of children, including in Elementary Schools (SD). Educators who can effectively utilize digital technology have the potential to create more profound and interactive learning experiences, as well as to assist in shaping the character of children from an early age. This research aims to explore and analyze how digital technology can be optimized in the context of Islamic religious education at the elementary school level, particularly in the preparation of elementary school teacher candidates. It is hoped that effective strategies can be identified to integrate Islamic values with the development of digital technology, thereby improving the quality of Islamic religious education in elementary schools and preparing elementary school teacher candidates to innovate in their teaching practices. This literature review will employ a descriptive-analytical approach to investigate the utilization of digital technology in Islamic religious education for Elementary School (SD) teacher candidates. This approach will enable the researcher to explore and analyze relevant information from existing text and literature sources. The conclusion of this research indicates that Islamic religious education in Elementary School (SD) plays a central role in shaping the character, morality, and Islamic values of students from an early age. Elementary school teachers have a significant responsibility as facilitators of learning and positive role models, integrating Islamic values with digital technology to make education more effective and engaging.
