IMPLEMENTATION OF QANUN NUMBER 8 OF 2013 IN HALAL TOURISM MANAGEMENT FROM SADD AL-ZARI'AH PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Halal tourism has been specifically stipulated in Qanun Aceh No. 8 of 2013 concerning Tourism. Article 5 states that the Government of Aceh has the authority to form a special team to assist agencies dealing with the tourism sector. This inspired the writer to examine the implementation aspects of the qanun. This article examined the implementation of the qanun at halal tourism sites in Lhoknga District from the perspective of sadd al-żarī‘ah. This study is an empirical legal research using a case studies method. Based on the concept of sadd al-zarī'ah, every potential of mafsada must be tightly closed, so the supervision is needed. This research finds that the Qanun No. 8 of 2013 implementation was going to be a preventive action that supervisions handed over by village officials. It can conclude that Qanun No. 8 of 2013 enforcement has not maximally been done.
