Abstract
In the last twenty-five years the interest in translation studies and its relation to gender has given raise to abundant and diverse research. Tis article seeks to offer a panoramic vision of the intersection between gender and translation in the Catalan language context, a ponint of departure for future research. On ghe one hand, we bring the principal works, panoramic and specific, which are based on the recuperation of Catalan translation of women and their works. On the other, we review the theories which have brought about the intersection between gender and translation in Catalan.
