Abstract

Two-dimensional radiotherapy (2D-RT) is a treatment modality that uses parallel and opposes fields. This work aims to share with new generations of medical physicists the existence of 2D-RT treatments in Mexico today, particularly in the Hospital Central Dr. Ignacio Morones Prieto located in San Luis Potosí. We reviewed the national database of High Technology Medical Equipment, it is of CENETEC-Salud, to get a general overview of teletherapy machines in Mexico, updated in 2016.
