From a historical perspective environmental education and training arises from the need to mitigate or solve problems related to the environment, considering that humanity has been in charge of modifying scenarios for its benefit which is why one of the main tasks of this type of education and training is the search for strategies that allow human beings to develop an environmental awareness that is reflected in their attitudes and behaviors. The case study in this work refers to the relationship dynamics of the community of the 20 de Enero neighborhood of the municipality of Valencia (Córdoba, Colombia) with the Jaraguay micro-basin, starting from the listening and active participation of the inhabitants as main actors linking them in the process from the identification of socio-environmental problems and subjectivities, training needs and description of pedagogical strategies. Thus, it was possible to determine that the understanding of the socio-environmental subjectivities of the community made it possible to establish a route to describe and interpret the pedagogical strategies for community environmental training, which can be developed from everyday life.
