Abstract

Virtual reality (VR) is being used to provide the needs of disabled children to acquire skills to function independently in the world. The emphasis of using VR is on teaching children how to operate motorize wheelchairs and on science education of children with orthopedic impairments. Details of these two studies using VR are presented.
