Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the results of memorization of the Qur'an students who use the Takrir method with the Kitabah method in class IV MIN 02 Bengkulu City. This study used two groups, namely class IV D who participated in the Tahfizh extracurricular totaling 25 people as the experimental group and class IV E who participated in the Tahfizh extracurricular totaling 25 people as the control group. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables, namely the Takrir method and the Kitabah method while the dependent variable was the result of memorizing the Qur'an. Data collection techniques using multiple choice questions consisting of pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques using the t test. The results showed that there were differences in the results of memorizing the Qur'an of students who used the Takrir method with the Kitabah method in MIN 02 Bengkulu City. It can also be proven by the results of the t-test calculation, the t-test is 2.355 and the t-table value for df = 48 with a significance level of 5% is 1.677. From the analysis, it was found that tcount is greater than ttable (2.355> 1.677). Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the results of memorizing the Qur'an of students who use the Takrir method with the Kitabah method in class IV MIN 02 Bengkulu City. Keywords: Memorization Results, Takrir Method and Kitabah Method.
