Desafios na implementação da Lei Maria da Penha

Abstract

RESUMO Este artigo discute a situação das principais instituições que compõem a rede especializada de atendimento à mulher em situação de violência e seu impacto sobre a implementação da Lei Maria da Penha. Partindo do trabalho da Comissão Parlamentar que investigou a violência contra a mulher, o artigo amplia as reflexões existentes sobre os serviços, apontando os principais obstáculos e os novos desafios para o reforço da dimensão preventiva e assistencial proposta pela lei.ABSTRACT This article analysis the specialized network institutions for domestic violence against women and its impact on the implementation of the maria da penha law. Based on the work of the parliamentary commission that investigated violence against women, the article widens the existing reflections on services, pointing out the main obstacles and new challenges to strengthen the preventive dimension proposed by the law.
