Abstract
The education of professionals for the Brazilian Health System (SUS) must be anchored in the concepts of health, education, and work that pointed to organic changes in the health sector. We present a theoretical-practical reflection about these concepts that are influences on the proposed PET-Health as an educational tool for labor and educational strategy for the SUS. This reflection is the result of conversation circles between tutors, monitors, preceptors, and coordinators of the Pro/PET-Health, where we identified the need for a theoretical-conceptual expansion; this would help define the meaning of the everyday PET-Health activities. Thereby, deeper discussions as well as to dive into in the health, education and labor references can contribute to changing the beliefs about all tutorial network members about the relevance of PET-Health in education and daily work.
