Abstract

Wrap and stack: Polyanionic [arylene]ethynylene polymers that helically wrap single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) enable the production of functionalized SWNTs that are soluble in organic solvents. These SWNTs can assemble into structures featuring aligned nanotubes that maintain the optoelectronic properties of individual SWNTs. Copyright © 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
