Abstract

A key challenge in delivering mobile services is to improve the relevance of discovered services, as mobile environments are very dynamic with rapid changes to user context. This paper presents m-Tableaux - an to optimised semantic reasoning approach to support pervasive service discovery which aims to efficiently leverage the computational resources available of mobile devices. We present performance evaluation of the m-Tableaux optimisation strategies which clearly demonstrate its operational feasibility on a mobile device. © 2008 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
