Abstract
Trichomyia colosensis n. sp. is described and illustrated from male specimens collected with a modified CDC light trap in the Reserva Forestal Protectora Serranía de Coraza y Montes de María, on the Caribbean Coast of Colombia. To date, two species of Trichomyia have been reported from the Colombian Caribbean, T. brevitarsa (Rapp, 1945) and T. colosensis n. sp.
