Abstrak: Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) merupakan persoalan pelik di Jawa Barat dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat kasusnya. Masalah ini bisa menimpa siapa saja, tidak mengenal batasan usia, pendidikan, status soaial, ataupun profesi. Domestic violence in West Java is increasing from year to year. Domestic violence can affect anyone, no age limit, education, social status, or profession. Domestic violence could happen in rich families, well educated, high status, as well as a respected profession in society. This certainly is very worrying, therefore Various efforts made by the Government of West Java province to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence. Socialization of Law No: 23 of 2004 on the prevention of domestic violence in West Java became one of the efforts undertaken. The research was conducted qualitatively with case study. Research data was taken through in depth interview with P2TP2A west java. The result showed that socialization has done in various ways such as interpersonal, group and mass communication. Institutions that do socialization does not depend on just one institution, but various institutions apparently do socialization and prevention efforts in order to reduce the number of domestic violence.
