Abstract

In this paper discussed about research conducted on an automotive manufacturing company in Indonesia. This company produces spark plug. This research discusses the modification of loading and unloading machines so that it works automatically. Specifically, it is related to the process of loading and unloading the insulator on the marking and glaing machine in the insulator line. This automatic unloading loading machine is targeted to have a flexible and precise displacement movement capability to take the insulator from the tray and store it in the pallet. We design and program the Universal Robot UR3 arm robot to perform the insulator capture and storage process. With the robot arm, the unloading and loading machine can function automatically and integrated with the marking machine.
