Abstract

The development of narrow bandwidth tunable laser systems in the vacuum ultraviolet region of the electromagnetic spectrum and of new experimental methods has recently enabled a significant improvement in the resolution that can be achieved by photoelectron spectroscopy. This improvement opens new perspectives in fundamental studies of the electronic structure and dynamics of neutral and charged molecular systems.
