Abstract
The article discusses strategies for collection development specialization and shared print monographs for libraries. The author advises that libraries should build specialized operations for archiving and servicing through the establishment of regional archive and service centers. Further subjects discussed include the HathiTrust Digital Library digital archive, archive copies with print and electronic book (eBook) digital content, and service copies focused on distribution, speed of delivery, and convenience.
