Abstract

Proposes adding to the three-dimensional concept of planning space a fourth dimension - time. Time-space use intensity maps could be drawn for urban areas to show how many people use a certain area or structure and at what frequency and duration. The result should help to plan the best investments for a community, measured in terms of benefits for the maximum number of people in a given period. -J.Prushansky
