Abstract

Fog robotics is an entirely new direction in the robotic field, inspired by the fogcomputing concept. Some fog architectures have been developed for robots groups and robot swarms, yet, to the best of our knowledge, there are no developed mechanisms of data sharing and replication in such structures. So, they are in the focus of this paper. The distributed ledger-based architecture for the fog robot servers is considered and described, as well as some models have been developed to estimate the time needed for data sharing. Simulation results show the expediency of consensus methods usage for distributed ledger-based.
