Abstract
The mobility demands are changing continuously, and with them the requirements for mobility carriers and related infrastructures. Technological advances, for example in the field of digitization, are currently enabling a rethinking of the entire mobility system. The diversity of alternative future scenarios is also growing rapidly, and support for the systematic capture of influencing factors and their interrelationships or interactions is essential. In the context of product development, there is a lack of methods for consistent scenario-based requirements identification. Interdisciplinary thinking in systems is an important aspect for finding solutions in the product development phase, which the Institute for Engineering Design (IK) at the TU Braunschweig is currently addressing in the three research projects “Future Lab Mobility“, “LifeCycling2“ and “autoMoVe“. This article describes the development of the Vision Board - a tool for the systematic design of future scenarios in the field of mobility - and presents the first application results.
