In order to acquire a quality signal, the patient should rest in sitting position with the device held between either the fingers of both hands, the fingers of the right hand and the left limb/hip, or placed on the chest in the precordial region. In this study, we aimed to analyse the feasibility of the acquisition of a legible ECG in mass sporting events, such as a half-marathon (HM) or marathon (M), in tumultuous outdoor conditions.Methods: The study was conducted during the first half-marathon in Swarzedz, Poland and the 17th Marathon in Poland.
