SDG: Readers Perception About Digital News and Sustainable Development Goals in Enhancing Reader’s Well Being

Abstract

Objective: People started to prefer the digital news and digital media contents rather than choosing into physical newspaper in sustainable development . The Adaptability and user preference of the newspaper is lagging in the company. The user-friendly handling by the elders is found to be quite difficult. Students from the younger generation occasionally like reading books online or responding to book reviews because they believe that these are useful ways to encourage a love of reading. Many things impact reading. Use of digital technology affects short-term indicators of hedonic well-being more strongly to attain SDG. (eg, negative affect) than long-term measures of eudemonic well-being (eg, life satisfaction). The researcher addresses the problem to assess the various factors influencing youngsters to prefer E–Newspaper, measure the overall reading experience of the reader using E–Newspaper and identifying the most influencing factor that improves the reading experience of the reader.   Method: The Primary Data gathering technique is the one that was employed in this instance. The primary data of the conducted survey is collected from public young readers using convenient sampling method. This study is based on the survey covering a sample size of 120 public young readers This study uses a survey-based methodology. A structured questionnaire that was distributed to respondents was used to gather data. Public youths make up the responders. A practical sample technique was used to deliver a total of questionnaires to young readers in the public.   Analysis: The respondents were chosen using a practical sample process, and well-structured questionnaires were created and distributed to the chosen respondents. The researcher uses descriptive research design and convenience sampling method. Totally 120 young readers were chosen as sample. The researcher uses correlation, regression and ANOVA to test the hypothesis.   Result: The results of the research depict Students from the younger generation occasionally prefer reading books online or responding to book reviews because they believe that these are good ways to encourage reading habits. Numerous elements, including environment, content, background, age, and so on, impact reading. The impact of contemporary technology on libraries has transformed useful activity across several domains.
