Abstract

The article discusses the influence of the U.S. on a Vulnerable Intercountry Adoption System which is a guide for Non-Hague nations and stakeholders. Topics discussed include the use of the large-scale role by the U.S. in the intercountry adoption system, predominate influence of the U.S. on the intercountry adoption system with primarily negative effects, and practice of Intercountry adoption at the intersection of poverty, child welfare, and human rights.
