Extensive numerical resu lts for electromagnetic scatterin g from spheres are presented in graphical fo rm. To simulate various types of coatings, the surface impedance of the sphere is a speeified complex fun ction. It is shown conclusively that the forward scattering lobe is almost independent of the characteristics of the coating. On the other hand, t he backseattering and side scattering are p rofoundly modified by changes in the effective impedance of the coating.
